Low cost and clean, with microwave, fridge, sofa, big screen flat panel, and a diner next door that served me some delicious hamburger steak with some good sweet potato fries.
Waking up and rolling out at 5 AM, everything was closed, and I was on my own for coffee, etc.; the diner opens at 530, I was told.
the manager was rude. the rooms were tolerable, not exactly pretty but not bad. the tub looked pretty bad but, i'm going by my better judgement and assuming it was clean. there was cable and internet access. no phone access though. NOT the best hotel i ever stayed in.
Clean, quiet, roomy and quaint. The manager was so friendly, as is just about everyone in Kimball :)
not the fanciest but that doesn't matter, if you are looking for a true piece of Americana, down to earth owners, and neat vintage decor this is for you!!
